At I AM ME Support we recognise that many children in care have experienced abuse, neglect or other forms of trauma. They have also often attended a number of schools and foster placements which, can for many lead to difficulties in forming relationships negatively impacting on their self esteem and confidence and their ability to feel safe and settled in new environments. We plan our support carefully so that children and young people feel safe with opportunities planned thoughtfully often based on their own interests to encourage engagement. Our support can be in school, in the home or in the community.
