Support in school

At I am Me Support, we are dedicated to working with schools and provisions effectively. Our aim is to enable children and young people to develop strategies that enable them to access school for longer each day as well as reducing the risk of exclusion or suspension. 

We work in partnership with school staff to discuss any barriers and difficulties and look for positive solutions with staff and the child or young person. 

Our support can include:

  • Spending time in the classroom, observing and supporting
  • Developing agreed consistent strategies with school staff
  • Supporting the child or young person on the school site, outside of the classroom
  • Support in the home initially
  • Support in the community as part of the agreed provision
